Can anyone add or edit an entry?

The goal of this site is to make it a community maintained website. Kind of like Wikipedia for agility enthusiasts. I wanted to make it as easy as possible for anyone to add or update the information for their favorite agility businesses or web sites. Just like Wikipedia, new entries and edits are reviewed by moderators. Inappropriate edits or entries may not be applied or may be edited or deleted. The moderator's decision is final.

Can I browse or search by city, state, country?

The map search page allows you to type in an address, city, state or zipcode and find the agility clubs, trainers, equipment makers near that adddress. The results are displayed using Google Maps so you can see where they are located and get driving directions and more information about each location.

Can I browse or search near me?

Searches using Google Maps have been developed that allow you to find agility busineses, classes, instructors, ring rental, etc. near your home or along the route of your next vacation.

I added/changed an entry but it doesn't show up

Due to our moderation policy it may take some time for your additions or changes to be applied (see also). Once web sites have been added to Googility it may take Google hours to days to update our Custom Search Engine with the new information.

Is there a website for my mobile phone?

This site should resize correctly to work on most modern mobile phones. Please contact us if you encounter any problems!

What about non-English websites?

The primary focus of the site is English language agility businesses and websites. However, there are a multitude of excellent international busineses, web sites and blogs. So non-English sites will be added if their content is accessible to English readers (i.e. a Spanish language website with many course diagrams on it would be a great resource for readers of any language).

Is my email address protected from spam?

The email address for the business or website is protected from harvesting by automated "spambots" by reCAPTCHA. So a human has to solve the CAPTCHA to view the email address.

Email addresses submitted via contact form or in the add or edit page are never visible on the website and are only used for contacting the submitter in response to their request.

Will the information collected be used for marketing purposes?

The information collected will not be resold to third parties. It might only be used to inform businesses and web sites of new features available on this site. One current use is, if a business or web site has an email address that email address will be informed each time their entry is updated.

I want my business or web site removed

The primary purpose of Googility is to provide better access to information that is already freely available on the internet. However, if you find some information that you want to keep private has been entered then you can remove it yourself or contact us to remove it for you.

Can I find out when businesses or web sites are added or changed?

You can! RSS and Atom feeds give immediate updates for every addition and update made on the site. Just click this icon: or click on the same icon in your browser's tool bar.

Is there a "road map" describing future features?

Right now there is nothing formally written. If you have an idea for a future feature contact us, we'd be happy to discuss it. Since this is a non-commercial and part-time endeavor we can't make any promises.

I wish there was a web site like this for obedience, flyball, rally or ... Can you do it?

This web site was developed with tools that should make duplicating it for other languages and dog sports relatively easy. If you would be interested in a similar website for your favorite dog sport contact us and it might not be difficult to create it. The key is if there are enough web sites and businesses to make it valuable to other enthusiasts.
